Trail-maker gets a make-over

This guy called Tyler posted a question in the PTC/USER exploder a couple of months ago asking about some utility to help create trail files... with vague recollection of seeing one already... we've been in touch since, and now Tyler has contributed a couple of improvements...

• Allow you up to 3 input variables... (eg: maybe filename, attribute value, dimension, etc...)
• Solves previous issue with truncation

The new version is available on CADmin.co.uk alongside the others... hope you too can get value from them.

I'm in the process of using similar tools to work with batches of thousands files in Intralink and Pro/E... and hope to release some tool that will combine all these kinds of tasks... also it's worth taking a look at Olaf's trail tools.

Flex License Monitor plus more collaboration...

I must do a quick post about this Flex License Monitor by Jason Ruprecht via the PTC/USER email exploder - looks like a great tool to help keep track of your FlexLM licenses, with a neat setup interface... I highly recommend you take a look. We hope to work together on some new stuff, watch this space.

Also, watch out for something in the way of collaboration with tools from a CAD vendor... all new, and I can't say much about it yet.
